  1. two xbox one consoles at home

    Hello

We have had 1 xbox one console for 3 years, where the home box was on me:
    [Mod Removed - Personal Information]
    .

I bought all games under the login: [Mod Removed - Personal Information] and also xbox one GOLD. I had my kids as members of my family and all the kids could play all the games and use also the xbox one GOLD.

Than, I bought second xbox one console and I again made it as home xbox one on me:
[Mod Removed - Personal Information], I bought another GOLD and all the kids were again my family. But there was a problem, that when on the first xbox one was the xbox one console as mine home box, the new xbox one console deleted the set
up, that it is also my home xbox one. And every day, I had to enter it again, that the kids were able to play online at the same time together.

But today, there appeared a note, that I changed my xbox one home 5 times already and no more changes. We ended with no home xbox on me and right now, I am the only one, who can play the games and use GOLD and because neither the old xbox one or new xbox
one has no set up for home box, kids can not play anything.

    Please, help, what to do.

Now I understand, that the correct way was to create new accounts on the new xbox one, but I did not know : ((.

    How to fix this sittuation?

Can I delete all members and create new accounts and use the GOLD redeem code again? Will it work?

Can I find the redeem codes for the games, which we already bought and install them under the new users?

    Or please, what to do?

    Thank you for helping me.

    :)

    Hi there,

the intended use for Xbox Home setting is as follows.

Only 1 console can be set as Home console, if your account has all purchased games and subscriptions and your account has set a console as Home console, every other profile on that console can enjoy the benefits for the Gold subscription and play your digitally
    purchased games.

On any other console your account only can still use the Gold subscription and games without problems.

    ole for Account A

The question now is, does everybody want to play any game and online on both consoles?

Then you will need one of the other accounts to purchase and own the games and a Gold subscription.

If everybody else other then you play on 1 console only then there is no need to repurchase things.

    A small example

Account A owns all digital purchased games and has a Gold subscription

    Account B owns no games

    Account C owns two games

Console 1 is the Home console for Account A:

Account A, B and C can play all games owned by Account A and use the Gold subscription options

Account C can also play the 2 owned games

Console 2 is not a Home console

Account A can use the gold features and play all owned games for account A

Account B can't play any of the games owned by A or C nor can it use Gold features

Account C can play the 2 owned games, can't use any of the games owned by A or use Gold features

If Account C sets Console 2 as Home console

A,B and C can play the games owned by C on that console 2

If Account C sets Console 1 as Home

A,B and C can play the games owned by C on that console 1

And all things mentioned at 'Console 1 is the Home console for Account A'

In regards to the redeeming of codes, they can only be used once and are tied to the account on which they were redeemed, so account A.

Let me see if I can explain it for you.

No matter what console a profile is signed into it will always be able to play its digital games and use any subscription it has. (gold, EA access, Gamepass)

Each profile can set ONE console at a time as its home console and any other profile can play that profiles digital games and use its subscription on that console without it being signed in. As you found out you can only switch which console you have set
as your home console FIVE times a year.

Now you should have ONE console still set as your home console because just because you go and try and set the other one as your home console since it would not take it was not switched.

I will give you an example of how mine is set up

I have 2 Xboxes a One s in my living room and an OG xbox one in my bedroom Games and Subscriptions are all on my account.

I have the One S set as my home xbox and anyone that wants to play the games on that system or use my subscriptions can with no problems.

Now if my wife wants to play on the xbox in the bedroom she would then have to be signed into my account at the same time in order to play.

So lets liken my situation to your situation.

You have Console A (CA) and Console B (CB)

Say you have CA set as your profiles home console any one that signs into that console can then play your games and use your subscriptions if they then go to CB they would have to have your profile signed in at the same time in order to play your games and
    use your subscriptions.

You do not need to make different accounts the kids and everyone can use the same accounts across both consoles.

Now keep in mind if a kid is playing a game on CB and you go to CA and sign in with your account it will sign your profile out of CB and kick them from the game they're playing and kick them offline if they are using a gold feature because each profile can
only be signed into one console at a time.

    Hope this helps explain things.

Two xbox one consoles in one home

Whichever console you setup as the home Xbox, that will be the console you can share your games and subscriptions on, that includes Gold, Xbox Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Access.

You will not be able to sign into the same account on both consoles at the same time, as when you sign in one, it will automatically sign out on the other console.

As long as you make the second console your home Xbox. I do the same for my wife. It makes it easier financially than paying for two Ultimate Game Pass or another gold.
