    Two XBox Consoles and Game Pass Ultimate


    Hi,

    I am thinking about buying an XBox Series X, I currently own an XBox One S. I was considering putting the One S in another room to allow my kids to play, while I use the Series X in the main living room, sometimes for games and sometimes for media services.

    I currently have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and the XBox One S is set as the home console. Therefore, everyone in the family can play the games on that machine. The thing I am not clear about is how this could/would work with two consoles. If I set
    the new Series X to the home console, I assume that would therefore make the One S pretty much useless to anyone but me, as the rest of the family could not use it to play games aligned to my subscription anymore?

    Any advice most welcome.

    Xbox games pass ultimate fails

    It has two options, included with Xbox games pass for Console or Buy. I already have Xbox games pass ultimate. There is no install button

    I can't play online even though I have game pass?

    There are 4 versions of Game Pass.

    Game Pass Core, Game Pass for console, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate.

    Only Game Pass Core and Game Pass Ultimate include the ability to play online multiplayer games.

    Is your subscription for one of those two or is it just Game Pass for console?

    How share game pass ultimate with a child account

    The xbox one console was setup as the home console. There are two xboxes - one at dads and one at mom's. Only the parent account on both consoles had access to ultimate game pass.

    That only applies to game pass ultimate and not game pass for Xbox, they are two separate subscriptions
