You should be able to log in to Xbox.com with your Xbox Live account. Every Live account has an associated Live ID, which you can use to log in to the website. It's the same username and password that you use to log in on the Xbox. I don't believe you can
merge two accounts.

I know this thread is a few months old now, but for anyone else that comes in, this might be helpful: DO NOT create your EA username/password the same as your Windows Live ID/password. I cannot stress this enough. If, currently, the two are the same,
I highly advise you change one of the passwords.

The real account associated with your email is the one that appears in the link I gave you, i.e. the one that was recently generated.

It is likely that your previous account has been blocked for inactivity, this happens when there is 2 years of inactivity.
