    My wife and I each have our own Xbox One console. They are both connected via Wi-Fi to the same network. We use them simultaneously all the time. Now my Xbox One will not connect to Wi-Fi. I reset the router. I reset the console. I cleared the MAC address.
    What's going on? It worked fine last night when I bought and downloaded Rainbow Six Siege. Then I was disconnected and nothing I try will fix it.

    Keep in mind it could be the wifi reciever broken, something rare, but can happen, especially on older consoles.

    Have you tried to hard reset and to perform a factory reset?

    Both. I gave up and swapped out the console. This one had no problem connecting. Just going to take me forever to install everything again.

    Hello there!

    It looks like you're having issues with connections.

    This is sounds like a network problem. You may need to investigate if your router is capable of UPnP, Universal Plug and Play, and it must have an excellent implementation of the protocol. What's
    basically happening is your Xboxs use ports specific to the Router and when two Xboxs try to connect, it causes a schism in the router as it's trying to figure out which one gets the specific IPs.

    This will require you to go to your router's address/website on a PC and check your router for UPnP support. If it has it, enable it and disable any static IP addresses, forwarding and DMZ configuration you might have implemented for either Xbox. Restart your
    router, restart each Xbox. Hope that it works.

    If you want to use WiFi to connect to your network hardware you must disconnect the ethernet cable from the console. It's one or the other not both.

    Wired ethernet is superior to WiFi.
