Two separate Xbox live gold payments

We have one xbox console that my daughter and I play on. We each have our own microsoft account. Somehow we set up xbox live gold subscriptions on each of our accounts and were charged $59.99 on each one. We realized our mistake and cancelled the subscription on one of them. Are we entitled to a refund on one of the subscription since we actually paid $120.00 for the year?

The refund department takes up to 72 hours to respond and the money takes three to 5 business days to go back to the account.

You need two separate xbox live gold memberships on different accounts for both of you play online.

I did see this option, but the warning came up about" If you are a member of an Xbox LIVE Family Pack subscription, you will also be removed from the Family Pack by making this change".

Will it become a solo account requiring separate payment or will it still be tied to the Family 4 accounts in 1 payment and allowing XBOX live Gold? I do not want to pay for a complete separate account by doing this.

The Xbox Live membership and Gamepass are two separate things.

You are able to simply subscribe to Xbox Live itself https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/live/gold but this wont include the Game Pass.

Many people are now going for Game Pass Ultimate which combines both Gold and Live which is easier than having the two subscriptions and paying separately for both.
