Two remote issues: Samsung TV, Cox digital cable mini box Cisco DTA 250HD

I'm trying to setup the X1 to turn on/off my Samsung SyncMaster T24B250 TV. The setup found the Samsung TV with the correct remote code T2051. But it just will not mute, turn on or turn off the TV. I know the code X1 found is right because my universal
remote uses the same code on this TV. I tried switching to "Send power off twice", that didn't work. I tried switching to "Toggle" instead of sending On/Off, that didn't work. I even tried moving the TV right next to the X1 with direct line of sight, that
didn't work. Anyone has any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Cox recently switched to all digital and they sent us a Cox mini box model Cisco DTA 250HD. The closest Cisco model the X1 found is the Cisco DTA170HD, obviously the code doesn't work. Any idea what the remote code is for the Cisco DTA 250HD?

Remote issue with Cisco 4742HDC

Here is what I have:

Provider: Cox Hampton Roads

Cable box: Cisco 4742HDC

Surround sound: Sony HDRKS360

TV: Samsung UN55EH6000F

Everything works as it should except for when I change the channel from the xbox one guide. Once selected it does change the channel but it also pops up a full details menu The menu can only be closed by using the cable box remote. I can reach that same
menu by selecting the info button on the cable box remote twice. Any ideas?

Is that box a really new model? From what I've found, it isn't even listed on their site (unless I have the wrong site):

Could you call/contact them for support? Tried an extensive search, but couldn't find anything on that model, just the 170, sorry.

I think I solved the remote TV issue. Went out and bought a X1 IR extension cable from bestbuy on sale for 5 bucks. TV now turns on/off like it is supposed to be.

@DJMorpheus2007, I think it is a brand new model from Cisco. Since Cox just went all digital in my area, this model is so new that it is possible the code has not been published. I even called Cox support and they don't even know the remote code. I guess
I just have to wait for Cisco to publish the code.

 

I suspected it was pretty new when the information available was thin on the ground. A little irritating that they haven't published the code yet, but hopefully they'll do that soon ;-).

I've had some success with this!!

I'm using the Cisco DTA-250HD box with Cox Communications. I was able to control the box by positioning the cable box at an angle towards the Kinect and then manually entering the code information.

Device control --> cable or sattleite box --> remove cable box --> cable box set up --> enter it manually --> cox cable communications --> select Cox --> enter it --> dta250hd --> select DTA250 --> set IR Delay to slow
