Two questions re: Monthly Offers and MyVIP

Yes, a purchase that is eligible for MyVIP will still award progress, even if it goes towards an offer. Thanks for your feedback. We did have a tracker for your next years' MyVIP placement around the end of last year. We will pass this feedback on to the
appropriate team to see if this can be brought back again.

Regarding your second question, your $20 in excess would go to MyVIP, but keep in mind that we cannot divide purchases. So for example, if you had $50 in eligible spending out of $60 for an offer, and you purchased something at $15 to complete the offer,
all of that purchase would go towards completing the offer and not say, $10 towards the offer and $5 towards MyVIP payback.

Since the MyChallenges are ending on May 31st, since you will not have completed this MyChallenge, it will not be Rewarded.

There are two ways to earn Rewards Credits. One is the completion of the offers found on your MyMissions page. The only way to receive Credits for non-offer purchases is through MyVIP payback. However, in order to be eligible for MyVIP payback, you must
have at least one MyVIP star. To be promoted to your first star, you must make $300 in eligible purchases. Since you did not reach your first MyVIP star until your recent purchases, you have not received any Credits for your previous purchases, since your
purchases neither completed any offers or were made with a MyVIP star. You can view your MyVIP status at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Since MyVIP payback is calculated as a monthly whole and placed as pending in your account midway through the following month, it is still too early to see Credits pending for your purchases in November which earned you your first MyVIP star.

I think the change to Microsoft rewards has been a nice smooth change over with a ton of added features and chances at more reward points.

You have a chance at getting a fair amount of points daily and they now have an Xbox Rewards app that can help you score even more points.

A lot of selection in rewards/sweepstakes.

The Microsoft Movies and TV offer was continuous from November to December. It was not monthly until January. You only made a purchase of Blade Runner towards the January monthly offer, and did not complete it.

As stated in the FAQ, you cannot get VIP Payback on offers and MyVIP:

There is no offer for renewing Gold. We see that both the gems were claimed by you, and the medals are displaying at the bottom of the MyRewards page for the survey and Gold consecutive MyChallenges. Since you did not complete January or October's FMO, this
means you did not have three consecutive monthly offer completions.
