    Two questions about the xbox one system software.


    My xbox one S isn't currently able to connect to the net, because all I have atm is unlimited mobile data and no hotspot access

    My questions are,

    A. Is there a spot in the settings somewhere that shows the current version of the system software?

    B. Is there somewhere online that lists what version is the newest of the system software.

    I know the offline update page gives you the newest version, but it doesn't actually say the version, so if I download it and it's the version I already have, I wasted time downloading 5gb of something I didn't need.

    A. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select System > Settings. Select System > Console info. Your OS version is located in the second row.

    B. Current version - 10.0.19041.3068 (rs_xbox_release_2006.200610-0000) / June 16, 2020; 9 days ago

    That was helpful, I'm on 2494, but is there a site that lists what the newest version is?

    I'd hate to ask here every time I suspect I have an outdated version.
