Two Questions About The DVR and Games With Gold

Hello everyone,

I have two questions. 1) So when I go to my game DVR via my profile and then clicking the "captures" tab, it only shows a thumbnail picture for one of my videos. The others are blacked out. Any idea why? How do I get thumbnail picture to show for my video?
Is it something I'm doing incorrectly when editing?

2) As a game's with Gold member I'm currently trying to get Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2. When I click it it says "see price" and after that it bring me to the Xbox one backward compatibility screen. Afternoon clicking continue it brings me to a confirm
purchase aveeen with my debit info. Don't normally grab Xbox 360 games for my one so I want to make aure that im not being charged charged. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area im brand new to the forum. Thanks everyone

Two Game DVR Questions

Hey all, I love using my XB1 and have since I got it back when they were doing the promotion with the Sunset bundle. One thing I never messed with, up until recently, was game DVR and I had two questions. I'm the owner of a league for a game I play on the XB1 normally I record my games with my Hauppauge HD PVR 2 but I know using the game DVR you can record up to 30 mins worth of footage, so, I've been trying that out but I've got two questions concerning this.

1) How do you stop the clip? Does it always have to be done by repulling up the dvr by double-tapping and then selecting end clip. Or is there another way to stop the clip at the moment I want. To then save me the trouble of having to edit it and trim out what I don't need.

2) Is it at all possible to upload these clips to youtube or something somehow if they're more than the normal five minutes long. I've seen an embed video option but I tried that on the boards and I couldn't get it to work right. I saw something about save clip. Would that in turn allow me to save it and upload to YT as normal?

DVR feature only for Gold members

Well this is the first batch of bad news I have heard in about a week or two, and it's pretty bad. Other than the other features that Gold has such as two free games, someone can afford a better capture card for $60 that records more than 5 minutes, and some that can record in 1080p with a solid 30fps instead of spending it on a Gold membership. I was hoping for it to be free, but apparently not. Dammit, Microsoft.

It may be that the videos with thumbnails have not yet been approved. Keep in mind all video content is monitored before going live. As for Games with Gold, you'll need billing options tied to your account but so long as the price is listed as 0 you shouldn't
need to worry,
