Two profiles for on one xbox360 console

Yes, it's a bit (to put it lightly) "unintuitive". You'll have to go to the
Microsoft billing website, and update your name and payment options there, and your name will show up on the support page.

Can you try the following: Open a "private" browsing session in your browser, and make sure you sign out of your other account.

Also on the console, check on the settings hub in the "Account" tile in the lower left, under "Your Information" and "Security Info", that your Gamertag really is attached to each other email properly.

I had the same issue. Long story short: I've had two user profiles (e.g. user1 and user2) on my Xbox360, one of them (user 2) was also logged on new XboxONE console. No matter on which profile on X360 I was logged on, I always got the same error code while
trying to install update. When I moved user2 profile to USB stick, and logged on user1 profile - the update has installed successfully. Now I've moved user2 profile to Xbox360 HDD and everything seems to be working fine.

Maybe logging out user2 profile from XboxONE would do the same - now, when the update is installed I can't check it out.

Hello, my brother and I play offline with one xbox360 console and 2 remotes in same game with 2-player mode. Our dad purchased one xbox 360 gold live account which we play by taking turns. Our dad wants to know if by buying a second xbox360 gold live account
we can both play at the same time using the same xbox360 console on two seperate xbox gold live accounts on two remotes in same game. Can someone please confirm if this is possible or do we have to buy a second xbox 360 console?

It is definitely the game! I tried playing on two different Xbox360 consoles and it still randomly froze both boxes!

As of the last major update, you may download your profile to as many consoles as you wish. Combined with Cloud Storage, and you can move between consoles without needing to use any other storage devices.



Having said all that, I don't recommend it.



While you can download your profile to any console, you'll have to key in your Live ID password to access the profile. You can elect to store the password on the console, but then the only thing stoping someone from using your profile is your Live password
(assuming you set one). Four button presses aren't hard to watch and learn.



While you can enable cloud storage for games, the storage does NOT sync across consoles until you run the game associated with each save game file. Say you play Halo Anniversary and Saints Row The Third on Console A, saving your progress to Cloud Storage.
Now you go to Console B and play Halo Anniversary. Great, your Halo Anniversary save games sync to Console B. Now try installing Mass Effect 3 to Console B without first playing Saints Row The Third. You'll find the installer "hangs", waiting for your Cloud
Storage to sync. The only workarounda are to either start up Saints Row The Third, or log out of Console B, install, then log back in.



The best solution for moving your profile and save games between consoles continues to be a USB Memory Unit on a USB flash drive.
