Two microsoft gaming/xbox accounts on one email

When signing into Xbox and other Microsoft owned gaming services, i cannot choose which of the two Xbox accounts i log into.

For convenience i am going to call the original Xbox account "Account A"

and the second Xbox account "Account B"

When the problem occurred: I believe the problem was created when i migrated my Mojang account to my Microsoft account. At the time it asked me to create a username and password, despite already having a Xbox account linked to my Microsoft account. I didn't think much of it because i thought it was just going to be a Minecraft thing. Turns out it had created a new Xbox account with the new username which was linked to the same Microsoft email as Account

I can now only access one of the two Xbox accounts (account A), and i cant switch between them since they share the same email.

Why this is problematic: When i log into minecraft with the same Microsoft account as i have used since the migration it now logs me onto Account A, which does not have access to the game since it isn't actually linked to my Microsoft account but only the Xbox account "account B"

I have the same problem and for information this is not possible to redo the migration because you need to login to your xbox linked to mojang account ,wich is unavailable...

Are you sure that during the migration process you did not create a new account or were logged in with another Microsoft account in your browser?

If you log in with your xbox.com account do you recognize the Gamertag your account used and find the purchases/subscription you made in your purchase history?

It would be interesting for you to contact Mojang to check these accounts and redo the Migration process.

How are you saying that you have two profiles under one email? This would not be possible as you are only able to register one Xbox profile per Microsoft account. Please explain how you use two different accounts under one email, is there two separate gamertags
for you and one for them?

Unfortunately you are unable to move the Gamertag from one Microsoft account to another either. The only way to actually update the email address would be to

Update the Primary Alias on the account as CIDkidzPILLZ has mentioned above.

Hi David,

The Microsoft Account can be attached to two gametags, however, it can only be set as the primary email for one gamertag. That means when signing into the Microsoft account, it will only show one gamertag. If the gamertag is on the Xbox then signing into
the profile on the console, it would be possible to see what email is the primary email for the gamertag in question.

The reason why the Microsoft account is able to be assigned to two profiles is, because as the secondary email it will help to regain access to the account/gamertag.
