    I'm afraid you will need two gold accounts yes. I wish Microsoft had a family gold like they used to as in My house I currently pay for two accounts (Mine & my son's) however my daughter has a 360 and she too wants to play online so will no doubt have a third soon enough two microsoft accounts :( two microsoft accounts :(

    They are based on the same servers under the Microsoft account (e-mail address) they're registered under. You cannot merge two accounts with two different Microsoft accounts.

    go to
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

    Select Billing & accounts in the category area

    Select See other options

    Select How to protect my account

    Select Show contact options

    Select Request a call from Support
