Two Microsoft Accounts linked to one Gamertag

I recently changed my Gamertag (Gamertag A) and wanted to change the email address associated with it (Microsoft Account A). The email I wanted to use (Microsoft Account B) was already linked to another Gamertag (Gamertag B) so first I had to change that.
After successfully changing the email linked to Gamertag B to a third Microsoft Account (Microsoft Account C), the email previously attached to Gamertag B should have been freed up to use on Gamertag A. You following me?

However, when I try to change the email of Gamertag A from Microsoft Account A to Microsoft Account B, it tells me Microsoft Account B is already linked to another profile. Now both Microsoft Accounts B and C are linked to Gamertag B, preventing me from
using the email I wanted on Gamertag A (and subsequently getting rid of Gamertag B and Microsoft Accounts A and C)

Basically, when I log in using xbox.com it I can use two different email addresses and it logs me into the same Gamertag. When I changed the email address something seems to have gone wrong and now both the old and new addresses are connected to the same
    Gamertag.

Help? Please? All I wanted was to change the email of my Gamertag and get rid of everything else, the Microsoft proof system has made me wait 30 days to get this far and I won't give up at the last hurdle.

    :)

Will i get banned for keep moving my xbox live from account to account

    Why BAN?

    Manage your Microsoft account

Switch gamertags between two Microsoft accounts

If you try to switch your Xbox LIVE gamertag to a Microsoft account that is already linked to another gamertag, you will receive a message that says “the Microsoft account (or Windows Live ID) you’re switching to is already linked to another Xbox account.”

Before you can switch your gamertag in this case, you must first remove the existing gamertag from that Microsoft account:

1.Create a new Microsoft account. You will only need this new account as a temporary means of moving your gamertags. After the gamertags have been switched, you will no longer need this Microsoft account.

    Example:

Gamertag A is linked to Microsoft account 1.

Gamertag B is linked to Microsoft account 2.

To swap gamertags A and B between Microsoft accounts 1 and 2, first create a third temporary account: Microsoft account 3.

2.Switch the gamertag that is linked to the Microsoft account you want to use to the new temporary account you just created.

    Example:

Gamertag A remains linked to Microsoft account 1.

Switch gamertag B to Microsoft account 3.

Microsoft account 2 is now free.

3.Now switch your gamertag to the Microsoft account you want to use.

    Example:

Switch gamertag A to Microsoft account 2.

Gamertag B remains linked to Microsoft account 3.

Microsoft account 1 is now free.

4.To complete the swap of gamertags between the two original Microsoft accounts, you must wait 30 days. (A gamertag can be switched only once every 30 days.)

    Example:

Gamertag A remains linked to Microsoft account 2.

After 30 days, switch gamertag B to Microsoft account 1.

Microsoft account 3 is now free and no longer needed.

Two Microsoft Accounts linked to one Gamertag

    Hi there,

the best thing to do for this issue is to contact Xbox Support, since it shouldn't be possible to have one gamertag attached to two e-mail addresses. They should be able to take a more in-dept look and have ways to solve this issue.

To contact Xbox Support use this link to see all available options:
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

If you want to call them yourself and see the opening hours use this link:
