Two Headset Question?

Hello All,

Brand new to the Xbox One. I am wondering if I can purchase two headsets, one for me and one for a friend/spouse/whomever and have audio stream to both headsets.

Hmm...Did you try go to settings and make the voice better or do you mean some thing else?

I think it partly depends on support from the game. I was paying Halo Reach yesterday and saw that someone was playing 4 player splitscreen yet their account and one of their guests were chatting and had mics in. What headsets specifically do you own and
how are they connected? When you say you can only hear the sound please be more specific. Are you refering to the game audio but cannot hear chat? Can you hear chat from other people on Xbox Live in either headset? You will not be able to hear each other chatting
unfortunately unless the headsets support it such as an Astro Mixamp or Razer Chariacas (which require local daisy chaining).

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on using two headsets on one console. Unfortunately, two headsets are not able to be used on the same console. You would need to play on separate consoles to use headsets for each person.

t's true that sometimes I would like to find a good chat headset but I still prefer to play with a full
headset.

Question of immersion and perception of the sound environment (on a BR, it's relatively important). Otherwise I kept the first chat headsets that Microsoft marketed with the consoles and I always have two spare at home.

hmm ok another question - do you have a rather current smart phone where you can try out your headset if its working there? technical background to this: there are two standards for connecting a headset which are called omtp and ctia and they are differently

Also, if they are sharing one account, only the player with controller 1 will be able to use a mic/headset.
