    Two Gamertags Under One Email


    Idk how this happened, i guess when we were forced to add a Microsoft account to our wins 8 laptop somehow a second xbox live account was added to my email of one of my accounts Killzone388 which is the main one and this one posting replaced it somehow.
    Not sure how to remove this one and get my old one back.

    When I got my xbox one, i was given the default gamertag . I went to update it to my new gamertag 'smitler', and it worked for MY xbox. when I tried signing in to my account on my computer, it still shows my old gamertag. i waited a year and
    it still hasnt updated. Even when i made an account on my friends xbox, it uses '' when i enter my details, and not the name i updated it to; 'smitler'. The gamertag 'smitler' only shows on MY xbox, which is the console i did the gamertag update
    on, any time i sign in using my details anywhere else it still shows as '', and doesnt have any of my games from my library. It wasnt that much of an issue until today. I went to buy black ops 2 on MY xbox (smitler), and it wouldnt work for
    some reason. So i went and bought it on my laptop on the xbox website, and it said the game will appear on my console. It hasnt appeared on my console and i checked my profile online, it was purchased under '', meaning it wont show on my xbox
    at all as my xbox is the only console that my gamertag actually updated on. it is super frustrating as no one seems to be able to help. i want to know how i can fix it or get a refund for the game i bought that i am unable to play due to a stupid glitch!

    Hey there!

    How are you saying that you have two profiles under one email? This would not be possible as you are only able to register one Xbox profile per Microsoft account. Please explain how you use two different accounts under one email, is there two separate gamertags
    for you and one for them?

    Unfortunately you are unable to move the Gamertag from one Microsoft account to another either. The only way to actually update the email address would be to

    Update the Primary Alias     on the account as CIDkidzPILLZ has mentioned above.

    Usually when a comm band happens enforcement sends out a notification two a few places. One would be the email address associated with the gamertag and they send a message to the xbox itself under that particular gamertag. Check there to see if there are
    any messages.

    you ever get this fixed? I've had this problem for 1.5 years and i've spoke with 8 microsoft people about it. 3 over the phone for roughly 2-4 hours each. while the rest either didnt understand my problem or escalated it and all i got was some stupid website
    that they thought would fix my problem.
