two gamertags on the same account

I have two gamer tags on the same Microsoft account, when I enter my password on my Xbox it accepts my password but does not sign me in. I can create a new password but the same thing keeps happening. When I go reset my password I get the email to reset
it but if I log in on-line my gamertag is different than the one on my Xbox. can anyone help me

Sorry but currency is limited to the country from which it was purchased and cannot be changed. You run in to a couple of issues with what you've done here.

1. The gamertag needs to be set for the region (country) that the currency is for in order to use the currency. You can only change the gamertag's region once every 90 days.

2. Even if you were able to use the currency to purchase something you run the risk of not being able to download the item due to region issues. Some items cannot be downloaded because of the differing IP addresses.

So, I bought my Xbox One before it officially launched in Finland (which was yesterday) so there was no option to choose Finland as my location. I then chose Ireland since they speak English and use Euros too. I bought a prepaid card worth 50€ and added
it to my account on my Xbox One. Now I have the problem that I have Irish and Finnish accounts on my gamertag, and I have money on both of them. I'd like to buy games and stuff but I can't since my money is like split between two places. I've tried to change
my location back to Ireland on both consoles but it doesn't work. Is there any way to get all the money to my Finnish account? I hope somebody understood and can help me with this. I've already contacted the support once and they couldn't help.

 

You can not have 2 gamertags on the same email/ MS account.

The best thing to do is to contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com and give them the gamertags and if they can verify ownership of the accounts they can tell you what the email is that is associated with the gamertag.

 

I know the email that has the same accounts it is the same also know my password it wont work when I try to sign in on xbox live. This is the only way to contact service on xbox.com you guys do not make this easy what so ever.

On another note I change the email on the new gamertag and removed the email I had on both from that Microsoft account. so now the new one has its own separate email.

The problem I am having now is I still cannot log into my old one because it does not have a Microsoft account now when I try to enter my password the same thing happens, the screen loads but never signs me in. When I try to reset my password I am stuck
entering codes to check if I am a human. I get the code right but another one pops up and just continues to pop up codes even though I get them right.

The Microsoft Account can be attached to two gametags, however, it can only be set as the primary email for one gamertag. That means when signing into the Microsoft account, it will only show one gamertag. If the gamertag is on the Xbox then signing into
the profile on the console, it would be possible to see what email is the primary email for the gamertag in question.

The reason why the Microsoft account is able to be assigned to two profiles is, because as the secondary email it will help to regain access to the account/gamertag.

This happened to me. I just edited in my Microsoft account profile name just today. I changed my gamer tag for $10 bucks. But best bet speak with Xbox.
