Two gamertags on profile - how to remove?

Hi,

I have had this issue for over a year now. Nobody I've spoken to through live chat (on the rare occasion I get to speak to an actual person) understands the problem and I've been offered a refund for the gamertag changed but I just want my old tag removed
from my profile.

I've attached an image showing the problem

I changed from Vesania to Decapitated, since then it was fine then Vesania reappeared. It shows Vesania on messages, activity feed, invites, etc. But Decapitated shows in game. I never chose to have Vesania and Decapitated both show, and if you search for
Vesania somebody else even has that tag now.

Please help.

Try to remove and add back your profile on your console, then see how it goes from there.

The profile may be corrupted and need to be redownloaded. The saved data for games is a separate file on the Xbox 360 hard drive. We have a support article that explains

I have done all the steps suggested from you, the last one how can i do it? for "removing" do you mean to delete my profile?
