    Two gamer tags


    After the latest update on xbox, where you are able to change your gamer tag to anything, my account has had two gamer tags all of a sudden. It has given me my previous gamer tag (Convectrix) as my main name but i have my new gamer tag () when in
    games. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue so i only have my new gamertag

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently seeing two Gamertags on your account.

    For this, I would have to recommend that you
    Contact Xbox Customer Support     as they would be the most properly equipped to be able to properly assist you with this.

    This can be done by following these simple steps:

    Log in to Xbox.com

    • Step 1: Scroll down, and select Support at the bottom left-hand side under
      Xbox      .
    • Step 2: At the bottom of the page, click on Contact Us
    • Step 3 : Select Billing & accounts then "See other options"
    • Step 4 : Select your Issue – Payment & billing
      • Select - "Show contact options"
      • Select – Request a call from Support

    Two gamer tags

    It is intentional as they change over the gamertag system. It means that friends etc know it's you. It will disappear eventually.

    I do not think they are two gamer tags. One is a gamer tag and the other is your nickname. The gamer tag cannot be changed without paying a fee. Your nickname you can change anytime you want

    No issues with the game so far,but I just now noticed that I have two sign in names? When Im at the start menu my normal gamer tag is on the screen but when i hit (A) my gamer tag changes ti this long gamer tag. Has anyone or is anyone experiencing this
