Two big issues I noticed with watching TV on Xbox One

The first problem is I noticed the frame rate drops quiet a good amount randomly. It drops by about 1/3. I try and power cycle the console, hard reset it, whatever I do doesn't fix it. This can go on for hours or just minutes. As of writing it's been 20
minutes.

My second issue is the audio dipping very drastically, again, randomly. It will go from normal volume to barely hearable instantly and takes about 2 seconds to go back. Sometimes it drops again before it comes back fully. This can happen at least 3 times
a minute or I can go hours without it happening. As of writing it hasn't happened all day but last night it was really really bad.

Stuttering when using Live TV (USB tuner)

Watching live tv through xbox one has constant freezing, every minute or so. I hooked hdmi from cable box to tv and picture works fine. Obviously, issues are with xbox one. I tried hard restarting everything and still nothing.

You shouldn't need to use your TV Tuner with your STB, they two standalone devices for watching TV on your Xbox One. Were you by chance able to try running through that OneGuide setup again?

 

I'm going to be that guy........ mine works 100%. Picture looks the same via X1 or hooked up direct to TV.

 

Then I hope this isn't a hardware problem for my Xbox One. I've had it since launch but this stuff has really only been happening since I joined the beta.

 

Could be. I think watching TV through my Xbox has been one of the most reliable things for me on my Xbox One.

 

I'm going to have to get a hold of Microsoft about this because I love watching tv through my Xbox One.
