Twitch

Getting error code: 0x20B31181 when I try to broadcast and it telling me "you must be an adult to broadcast using xbox one" . Called the xbox support line and they had no idea what to do.

everytime i open twitch , it said cannot to twitch servers....

After i close my twitch account (incorrect birthday information)

reinstalling twitch doesn't help and wont let me switch to my new twitch account....

Twitch app crashes when loading channel

I think is the pub make bug for twitch canada work on that fix twitch e3 is coming and i not have pc to watch twitch now i made my region usa and twitch work find.

 

i am having the same problem, did you find a solution?

 

In the privacy and online safety settings you need to have it set to adult and not custom. Won't work any other way.

 

The same error... I got the settings in adult, and doesnt work.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Twitch App

This has proven to help many folks, so moving this up:

Please try disconnecting the app from Twitch, then on the Xbox One deleting theapp data, uninstalling the app and then reinstalling. Do exactly as follows:

1. First, disconnect the Xbox connection from your Twitch account: twitch.tv/settings/connections

2. Then on your Xbox On, select the Twitch app in My Games & Apps.

3. Press the menu button.

4. Select Manage app.

5. On the right under SAVED DATA, select the appropriate gamertag.

6. Press the menu button.

7. Select Delete saved data.

​8. To uninstall the app, find the app, then press the menu button to open the app menu, and select Uninstall.

What You MUST Have Set on Your Xbox One BEFORE You Can Broadcast

To broadcast to Twitch from your Xbox One, the following must be true:

*In your Profile, your presence is set to "Online".

*In the Settings app under "Privacy and online safety", "See if you're online" is set to "Everyone" and "Broadcast gameplay" is set to "Allow".

*In the Settings app under "Preferences", "Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads" is checked.

*You must be playing a game. You cannot broadcast without first launching a game.

In order to include Kinect information in your broadcast, the following must be true:

*In the Settings app under "Privacy and online safety", "Share content made using Kinect" is "Allow".

*In the Settings app under "Kinect", "Kinect on" is checked and to include Kinect audio in your broadcast "Use Kinect microphone for chat" is checked.

I followed all the steps above and it worked.

Same thing here, and I've gone through and made sure that my account wasn't a "child" account or anything like that. Still unsure of what's going on. All I know is that I wanna broadcast and I cant.

 

Check out the twitch support page. They have some xbox one specific troubleshooting tips.

 

There is an announcement sticky at the top of this forum talking about this very issue.

 

I was having this problem then I realized I was apprearing offline -____- need to appear online to broadcast along with other needs to broadcast mentioned in the sticky

 

I went through my setting on xbox 1 and made sure my settings were adult and I also had to change my statue to appear online. And that made it so I could broad cast instantly

 

Just did what @IRlegend12 did and it works now. I dont play with appearing offline. Must have changed when I updated to the July update thru the beta program.

 

Had the exact same issue, I deleted the profile off the console and redownloaded and im now able to stream with no issues.

 

I had the same issue . All you have to do is go in to you privacy settings and change your account to adult and not custom or child and then you can stream with twitch . It seemed to solve the issue for me .
