    Twitch VOD playback issues


    Hello,

    For the last week or two, after about 10-20 minutes of watching a Twitch VOD, it will back out as if someone pressed B. When I try to go into the VOD again, it take a moment to load and eventually display a bright green. I can hear the audio, but the whole
    screen is green. This will last maybe two minutes and then automatically back out. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and done that with various mixes of hard and soft shut downs.

    Before you ask, yes I've uninstalled, hard shut down, rebooted, and reinstalled and the issue still persists. There is no error code to report, the VOD just exits in the middle of play back.

    Currently using a One X

    Any help would be welcome as I'm tired of bouncing around between platforms just to watch Twitch.

    Twitch made it so VODs are no longer automatically saved permanently and added a similar content ID system that Google uses with Youtube and censors the VODs now. The biggest problem with this is game OSTs alone are causing entire videos to have their audio
    blocked. So as a result people are upset and starting to move away from Twitch and to other services. The other sites aren't exactly booming but the amount of viewers has been noticeably dropping on Twitch. Honestly if League / Dota pros switched services
    and Riot/Valve stopped hosting their tournaments there that alone would cut twitches traffic in half.

    Is this why twitch won't run on my iPhone 5 now? Did the update today which said it would fix playback issues (I had none) now streams pause every 2 secs or are black or are super low quality. Bah.

    Are you a Dashboard Preview member? If so then you should report it via the Xbox Insider app reporting function.

    This may be a controller/console issue as I too have been experiencing intermittent audio issues on my Turtle Beach XO4 Stealth headset. I noticed something interesting for one of those occasions that I had also streamed via Mixer. During playback of the
    VOD, I noticed that the audio issues I had been hearing in the headset weren't present in the VOD so that leaves me thinking that Microsoft has some issue with the audio feed being sent from the console to the controller and/or chatpad headset jack.

    I believe there is a setting on Twitch to keep he full stream as a Vod which you can download and edit then upload to your YouTube channel. If this works it would probably be a good option because it gets you views on both platforms
