Twitch streaming : Your account is restricted from broadcasting

Just decided to start streaming my game and setup everything, but when I went to start a broadcast on my xbox1 (today) It keeps resulting in this error code : 0x20B31181 With a message telling me that

-You need to be an adult to broadcast using xbox one

-Settings for all logged in accounts must be set to allow broadcasting

I have googled this error and found a few videos and inks on how to fix it, although it was for a previous version of the xbox one I still compared all my settings and they match. I even followed this article Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

But the issue is still there.

I'm almost ready to give up on this streaming thing, so any help would be greatly appreciated

Just to be clear, I am appearing online, I have privacy and online safety set to adult with everything on allow except for : others can see what im watching, others can see your live tv, and others can see your excercise info.
Content restrictions : Access to content unrestricted, web filtering turned off. Game DVR and streaming: all boxes are checked Kinect is on and microphone is used for chat

streaming on twitch help , iv done everything it still wont work

on my xbox one i can sign in fine and use the app but when i try to broadcast my own gameplay this message comes up " your account is restricted from broadcasting you must be an adult to broadcast (i am) - setting for all logged in accounts must be
set to allow broadcasting i only have one and it is) all of my setting are set to allow and everyone , im 99% its a twitch problem error code - 0x20b31181 been in contact with xbox for days they are 100% sure its nothing on their end iv been messaging twitch directly
for a few days and cant get a response

I don't know why twitch on Xbox one say I'm restricted from broadcasting. Two things they suggested to me that doesn't particularly count towards me. One is you must be an adult to broadcast using Xbox one, Really I'm 24? I don't think I'm under the age.
Two: Setting for all logged in accounts must be set to allow broadcasting, Okay? so I did check this one out just in case but all of them been allow. So can you tell me what is actually wrong why i cant broadcast my own twitch account on my Xbox One?

 

Do you happen to have yourself appearing offline? That will also bring up this error. If you go to view your profile you should be able to see if you are appearing online or offline.

 

Like i said in my post (last paragraph) I am appearing online, I have followed the article i posted as closely as I could since it was a pre-dashboard update article, But all my settings matched and it still gives me that issue. Ive been on the twitch website
help section, I've unlinked my xbox, cleared twitch saved data, uninstall and re-install twitch, reset my stream key and hard reset my xbox and the issue still persists.

 

I had this issue when I had my online status visible to "friends only" in the privacy settings. Changing it to "everyone" fixed it for me... check to see if that setting applies to you,.

 

I have the same problem... I'm online I have everything set to everyone and/or allow. Content is not restricted, web filtering is off. Kinect is on and chat is on. allow to broadcast and stream is checked and I still keep getting that darn restricted error.

 

I actually solved the issue, and it was the appear online thing...IT is VERY misleading because when you go on your profile, if the button shows "appear Online" then you are actually appearing offline...Click on it so that it says "appear offline" .

So basically it doesn't show your current online/offline status, it shows what you can set it to.

I have the same issue.. .everything is set according to what it tells me to do and it still wont broadcast... I even checked my twitch profile and xbox profile and security settings on my computer.. not sure what else to do.. does the xbox people have any
input... ????

 

I used to stream to twitch.. but since the last time I used it I cannot for the issues as stated in this forum.. not sure what changed..
