Twitch refuses to broadcast

When I load Twitch the first time on the console it will give me a preview of the broadcast in the top right. All my settings to ensure I am showing as online and to allow broadcasting are set to Allow. My Twitch account has been linked to my console and
the website is listing me as online. When I choose the Start Broadcast option it says it is testing my internet bandwidth and then it brings me back to the broadcast preview page. No error messages, no broadcast, no nothing. After this, Twitch will refuse
to ever show the preview of the broadcast ever again unless I pull the plug and let the system recycle. I can't even leave the app and the game and go back in. What gives? Why must this be so difficult?

Twitch Broadcasting problem

So I can't stream whatsoever on my Xbox using twitch, anytime I load the twitch app it will just show a blurry broadcast previous and if I start the broadcast it'll just show an Xbox loading stream on my channel. I've tried uninstalling
and reinstalling the application, I've tried testing the internet bandwidth and than stream. Regardless of what step I take it refuses to broadcast anything other than a loading screen, I screen almost every other day on PlayStation with no issues. I don't
understand why it's so difficult on my Xbox. Any help would be great, thanks!

I have a suggestion this may help

Uninstall the app

hard reset your console hold power on button for 5-8 secs

turn console on

download the app

 

I had gotten as far as uninstalling it last night, but never reinstalling it after that. What's more, when this failed, every app after this failed to load: my Friends List, games, settings, YouTube. Anything that I tried to open would just hang, which is
why I decided to remove it. Reinstalling it seems to have done the trick.
