Twitch not working on Xbox 360 and Xbox one

Hi guys.

It’s the old ‘can load twitch but can’t load a streamer’ problem again. Ive had it now for two months on my 360, but also now on my xbox one and oneS. Its annoying as i spend a lot of time watching as part of the TR community. Whats worse is that twitch
has now decided to not sign me in automatically when i log into twitch via the dashboard as well on my one and oneS. Ive been selecting ‘sign in’ on the twitch homepage (which i shouldn’t have to do) and it takes around five minutes at least of selecting it
back and forth between the error page (995F9A12) and the homepage. Ive done everything from the ubiquitous microsoft reset to deleting both the app and/or save game and ive gotten nowhere. On my 360 im told theres a service alert and when i go to the service
alert page there are none flagged up. So whats going on microsoft ? What do i do now for my forty (soon to be fifty) pounds a year to access twitch ?

Twitch only works for Xbox ONE. For an Xbox 360 stream, you would have to have a transfer card to transfer the Xbox 360 record to your PC and then stream it through your PC.

Yes I have authorized the Xbox 360 with Twitch several times. It still doesn't work. Twitch says it's not them. Clearly other people continue to have the same problem. It's the Xbox that isn't connecting to the Twitch servers.

It could be an issue with the twitch apps, if so, then you will need to contact twitch about it. As for the service alert on the Xbox 360, that's a bug. Pretty much every Xbox 360 is showing there is one even if there isn't.

Also you do not need a gold subscription to access twitch.

Twitch works on every other device I have regardless of what network it is on...PS4, iPhone5s, IPad Air, Xbox 360, and PC all work fine.

The Xbox One app is the only thing that is having issues. Some games in the Xbox One store have a broadcast preview window and it even plays properly in there until you click on it and it opens the twitch app.

I've been working on this for a few weeks now and also have a ticket in with Twitch support.

Trying to watch any broadcast on Xbox One Twitch app screen stays black but chat works, same as above posts.

Temp Fix: Change your system location. I went into settings and changed my location from "Canada" to "United States".

Rebooted the system and launched Twitch again and it works properly.

This fix isn't the best but it works for me.

Only annoying thing is that when you want to buy something you need to switch it back for your account to work properly in the store.

I've tested Twitch on Xbox 360 and also on Ps4, no issues and works perfect. Issue with Xbox One only.

Hope this gets fixed / patched soon.
