Twitch not playing streams

Its been going on for a few days now but when i load up a stream on twitch it just sits there on a black screen and nothing loads up except for chat. Anyone else having issues with this app as well?

Streaming your video game feed + youtube

Streams are uploaded to Twitch TV. I'm not sure if you can also live stream to Youtube, but from the Twitch website you can upload videos to Youtube.

 

Could Twitch app stream TV app?

It would be a very nice feature if twitch app in Xbox One could stream the TV (HDMI input) app... That way we could also stream X360 games! I use the HDMI input just for playing in my xbox 360. After Dark Souls 2 release I would love to stream it in Xbox
One Twitch... Any chance we could see that available?

I remember it doing something like this last year. I'm in Canada if that helps.

 

Twitch i has been doing same thing to me loading chat but no video or audio. Im also in canada using shaw internet

 

I have had the same thing happening for at least two weeks... ALSO in Canada.

 

Well another week and still no fix for it but its only a xbox one thing since i can watch twitch on pc and ps4 but i hope they fix it soon since i use my xbox more than the other devices.

Why should the users/customers that buy xbox live have to reach out to twitch so they can fix there junk app. By posting this on here the users are bringing it to the attention of xbox and there the ones that should fix this.

 

I found a temp fix. Im from Canada and put my location to US and its now working

 

Arachnid83 - We are not the ones that created the app, so we are unable to assist beyond uninstalling and installing the app. You will have to reach out to the app developer for further assistance with their app.

 

It's still a app offered on a xbox system. So imo xbox should be getting in contact with twitch once they know there's a problem.

 

ive reached out to twitch a few times and still no reply and the xbox one app is still broken and wont load streams in canada and microsoft does not seem to care either with the reach out to twitch crap.
