    Twitch not picking up party chat


    Been trying to stream resident evil 5 on twitch with a friend twitch wont pick up the party chat or say I'm streaming in the party. Tried restarting console/app/game and noticed xbox had an update today not sure if bugging because of it. Any info much
    appreciated.

    Hi, this had no effect whatsoever. My Party Chat is still not being picked up using the Twitch app despite there being the option to control party chat volume on the Twitch app

    Hello @Liam��. Please review the Privacy and Online Safety
    Settings for your account. Check your settings and make sure you allow audio to be shared outside of Xbox Live. In addition, members of your party must
    also opt-in to share their voice chat on stream.

    In the Twitch settings while streaming you can choose to mute your mic so that your voice won't be heard on your stream. Your friends will still be able to chat with you.

    Regarding your second question, even with the microphone on, the twitch stream does not pick up the voices of other people in your party. I actually found this forum trying to find a way to make twitch pick up the voices of my friends as well as my own.

    Party Chat won’t work for twitch app or streaming in general

    Try using mixer instead of twitch. I know for a fact they support party chat and game chat.I believe twitch has stopped using party chat (correct me if im wrong).
