    twitch is saying i am restricted from streaming. need help.


    i have streamed on twitch before. i went to stream the evil with in because some of my friends wanted to see me play the game. when i went to start the stream, i got the message that i am restricted from streaming. it said i had to go to twitch.tv and sign
    in, them allow broadcasting. i signed into my profile on the twitch.tv website and can not find that option anywhere. i don't see why i am restricted from streaming. i never have broken any of twitch's rules. what can i be doing wrong and how can i fix it?

    Is anyone else having problems with twitch? This is really starting to *** me off. It works whenever it wants. Some days it streams, some days it says my account is restricted from streaming and others it tells me I need gold to do this. I have gold!!
    What is going on?

    i found the problem from the troubleshooting list. somehow my xbox one profile was set to appear offline. i have never set it to that. once i set it back to appear online, it fixed the problem. now to solve the mystery of how my xbox one profile got set
    to appear offline............

    Can't stream these games

    Duke Nukem Forever doesn't have any restrictions from a Twitch point of view.....Twitch even has a DKF category; Silent Hill: all the games have categories so I assume the same with the HD collection

    The Darkness 2 is the only one without a category on Twitch.

    I would say the OPs issue is something else...unless it's the Xbox Twitch app that has restrictions and those games can only be streamed from PC?

    as of 3 days ago I was streaming on twitch with no age restriction and how am I playing games that are only 18+ if it was my error on a age restricted account.. something happened as of recently not as of around 4 years ago when I opened the account
