Twitch "error must close"

Opened with community advisor in contact support originally with

" ive uninstalled and reinstalled the twitch tv app on my xbox one and every time i get 'twitch has encoutnered an error and must close' message everytime i open it. help plz"

tried doing a "power cycle", deleting app then reinstalling for same issue...still getting same error, wondering if anyone has come across same issue...

to clarify, I AM NOT TRYING TO BROADCAST, simply, my girlfriend is trying to watch my stream from her xbox one...every time she opens the app she gets the error message stated above and can get no further...

Twitch App won't work

Whenever I open twitch app it says twitch has encountered an error and must close. I have tried redownloading it and a 5 second reboot and redownloading again and neither have worked. Xbox connected straight through modem so it's not a router port.

OK, so I just got back on from that whole xbox one network fiasco and wanted to start streaming using Twitch on the Xbox one, so I sign into my profile, and try to launch twitch and after two seconds it comes up with an error saying Twitch has encountered
an error and must close. I've tried uninstalling, deleting my saved data and cold reboots but nothing helps, it just reverts to that same message, any help would be apreciated as I have organised a stream for today and have no other means of streaming my Xbone
other than the inbuilt twitch streaming function so yeah, help meh please lol by the way if my sig is still showing I have been inactive for a while and have probably lost that status but hell I've deleted it allready so if it shows, thats on your servers
end since I've taken the steps needed to delete my old amb sig.

 

Delte app reinstall

power down your console hold the power button 5/8 secs try again

 

said that i tried this in my post...still isnt working

 

so tried doing the powercycle again, gets past the error screen to say "its not you its us, twitch servers are unavailable." returns me to home screen, check xbox service status' page and says its fine...pull it back up, same error message again...

 

I have gotten this same error ever since the last update. Prior to to the 1404 update Twitch worked fine.
