Twitch Broadcast - Full Screen Annoyance

When broadcasting fullscreen, (without the app snapped). There is a box that appears in the middle that says "Broadcasting X Viewers" or something like that. It really gets in the way. Sometimes we just want to play our game while streaming, and not
have anything intrusive on the screen, or the screen shrunk. Please add an option to remove this. I'd rather have a notification popup when someone starts viewing.

How to play full screen while broadcasting

TWITCH APP - HOW TO PLAY FULL SCREEN WHILE BROADCASTING?!

A: If voice commands are available in your region:

1. Use voice command "XBOX BROADCAST"
2. Select "START BROADCAST"
3. Use voice command "XBOX UNSNAP"

If you want see your Twitch window with LIVE chat again, use again voice command "XBOX BROADCAST". Then you can see what someone has been said or stop broadcast. Also same time when you are playing full screen you can use your tablet or computer to check
what your viewers write.

B: If voice commands are not available in your region:

1. Select Twitch app, press A.
2. Select "START BROADCAST"
3. Press XBOX button.
4. Select your game window on your HOME dashboard. Press MENU button (the one with the three horizontal lines in the right-center of the faceplate).
   
5. Select "GO TO FULL SCREEN"

If you want see your Twitch window again, go back to HOME screen (press XBOX button) and open Twitch app. Then you can see what viewers write or stop brodcast.

I have this same problem; I believe Twitch is doing updates. Twitch was giving the black screen everytime I tried to broadcast.

 

I've just updated and tried using this broadcast feature. I followed all the on screen prompts and the picture freezes on the preview panel. I click broad cast and it just says checking bandwidth and stays that way. Then when i try power down xbox one it
takes around 20 mins. Twitch also crashes a few times attempting to it. I hope this hasn't messed up a £430 console!!

 

@Only1Steve0 I think its just because the Microsoft servers are taking a bit of a beating right now with the launch of Titanfall. I tried Twitch on Monday night before titanfall launched and it worked just fine. Tried it again on Tuesday and it just kept
testing my connection and wouldn't do anything. Tried restarting the console to see if that would fix it and I couldn't even log back into my account.

@TopcowRaven I agree, the full screen broadcast message is annoying but I do think they need something on screen to let you know its working. Maybe if they could let it fade slightly after a couple of seconds so its not as intrusive but still visible.

 

Yeah they need something on screen. Imagine if you forgot you were streaming then you got unchanged or something right in front of the Kinect for all they viewers to see. Like said above let it fade or maybe an option to move it somewhere else on screen.

 

Count yourself lucky that streaming works at all for you.

 

Just like @Robborboy said, I'm grateful I can even stream with all the problems I'm reading about, however, I do agree with @TopcowTaven in regards to that small message that is put in the bottom of the screen. When playing a game like FIFA, the message
is actually sitting right in front of the 3D minimap. Hence, I can't see where I am on the field when I'm playing with my pro club.

Again, I'm just grateful I can even stream.

anyone knows if there's an update of the twitch update coming to improve this.

I kinda of agree with TopCowRaven, the broadcasting info in full screen is not really well located and should appear only when there's new viewers.
