    Twitch app will not work/start


    Recently the twitch app kicked me out while trying to switch streams then did not let me start the app so I deleted it and reinstalled but whenever I select it gives me the error code 0x80073cf6. Any way around this?

    Having issues broadcasting

    1: Make a twitch account on the website.

    2: Make sure NAT is Open in network settings.

    3: Set the correct rights of privacy, use Custom settings. Majornelson.com has a guide.

    4: Make sure you are listed as Online

    5: Start Twitch app and get the code, then go to Twitch website and paste it in to link accounts.

    6: Start a game, Then start Broadcast, not before.

    Following these steps should work for everyone.

    Hey there BradyMVP,

    What game are you trying to stream when you see this error? Does it happen with all games? Let's have you try to Power Cycle the console and see if that helps first.

    How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console    .

    Twitch keep crashing.

    Seems odd that it's an ISP issue considering twitch works properly on literally every other device and app. Even the broadcast previews that show up next to the games in the xb1 store work properly until you click on them and it tries to open the app. The
    360 app works fine also. The issue is isolated to just the xbox one app. It used to work but for me this seems to have started after the last update to the Twitch app.

    Hey what do ya know exact same issue. It's been hit or miss the last few months and now it doesn't work at all uninstall and reinstall doesn't help. Seeing as twitch works on every other device in my house without issues, there is an issue with this specific
    app. This is one of 2 things.

    1. Something microsoft changed somewhere started blocking open access to twitch servers.

    2. Twitch made some changes on thier backend that messed up funtionality only for 1 app (unlikely). Even if this were the case, you now have a non working app on your marketplace that you have the responsibility of talking to twitch and getting it working
    again or remove it.

    I don't think Twitch Support Party chat anymore.

    My friend was having the same issue. It worked with Mixer fine but Twitch App it did not work.
