    Twitch App (Multiple Bugs reported over the last year ignored)


    Live Stream:

    If the live streamer drops frames it can cause the app to stutter/play video at 2x speed but audio plays fine (sometimes it can also cause the XBOX to hard reset/crash).

    WORKAROUND:

    Backing out of the live stream and refreshing then going back fixes the video issue but will often re-trigger ads again (convenient).

    VODS:

    1. While watching a VOD if the streamer drops frames it can cause the app to stutter/play the video at 2x speed but audio plays fine (sometimes it can also cause the XBOX to hard reset/crash).

    WORKAROUND:

    Pausing the VOD and fast forward/rewinding it for a few sec's usually fixes the issue until they drop frames again then you have to rinse and repeat.

    1. VOD often just pauses like it is buffering (spinning circle) but never comes back/starts again.

    WORKAROUND:

    Keyboard:

    1. When typing with the onscreen keyboard the auto suggested words do not show at the top of the keyboard.
    2. Using emotes from the onscreen keyboard don't appear in chat, they instead just show as 2x diamond icons with a ? inside.



    Reported all multiple times over the past year and still unfixed/changed.

    For us to further isolate the issue, please try to send a message using an Xbox app on mobile if you could send multiple messages just fine.

    Since it's happening to other accounts and multiple consoles, it's possible to be a system bug. Please use the Report a problem app to report or file a bug to Team Xbox.

    All the money in the world to drag Shroud over to mixer but development of their own platform bugs not even a dime. Started on twitch last night. Really pains me starting from 0 followers but have no option at the moment.
