    Twitch app is not working on Xbox 360


    Although the Twitch application is displayed on Home, but if I do not have the ability to download it, only the details and the pin, rate options are displayed! Sometimes even a few features don't work like YouTube, Plex, Xbox Account Registration! When
    I run the Xbox Live connection test, it connects perfectly with just the Irish service error below with a yellow exclamation mark! When I download a game demo it works! I've tried a lot of things: I deleted profiles, went beyond the intitial setup, deleted
    system updates, ethernet, wifi and mobile internet! I also contacted the microsoft live chat and they suggested that I create this discussion

    Twitch keep crashing.

    Seems odd that it's an ISP issue considering twitch works properly on literally every other device and app. Even the broadcast previews that show up next to the games in the xb1 store work properly until you click on them and it tries to open the app. The
    360 app works fine also. The issue is isolated to just the xbox one app. It used to work but for me this seems to have started after the last update to the Twitch app.

    This 100% worked for me on 360... if you go into the twitch app and scroll over to settings it will ask to link your twitch account through twitch.tv/activate.. as soon as i did that it worked right away... i have not been able to watch twitch in 2 months
    on my 360 so this should be a huge help to the community!!!

    well, it sucks when they stop supporting app but it becomes more and more work for them to keep supporting app on the older consoles. twitch has stopped support on the Xbox 360 as well.

    Twitch works on every other device I have regardless of what network it is on...PS4, iPhone5s, IPad Air, Xbox 360, and PC all work fine.

    The Xbox One app is the only thing that is having issues. Some games in the Xbox One store have a broadcast preview window and it even plays properly in there until you click on it and it opens the twitch app.

    It could be an issue with the twitch apps, if so, then you will need to contact twitch about it. As for the service alert on the Xbox 360, that's a bug. Pretty much every Xbox 360 is showing there is one even if there isn't.

    Also you do not need a gold subscription to access twitch.
