Discus and support twitch app hasnt been working for a week in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; for the past 5 days my twitch app hasnt been working. when i press the iconm for it, it give a pop up saying "Were getting your app ready" then right...     twitch app hasnt been working for a week


    for the past 5 days my twitch app hasnt been working. when i press the iconm for it, it give a pop up saying "Were getting your app ready" then right after gives an error saying "something went wrong." with an error code. i have uninstalled the app many
    times hoping for it to work but nothing has changed.... help please!

    Xbox live hasnt been working for two weeks now it annoying they need to fix this crap

    Xbox One - Twitch App Black Screen Issue.

    I've been using the Twitch app on my Xbox One for months without issues until about 2 weeks ago.
    Anytime I go into a broadcast the chat is the only thing working, video is completely black and never loads.

    Have un-installed / re-installed the app multiple times. Removed / deleted all saved items on my Xbox One including all keys / content in my profile on Twitch website. Rebooted my modem / router. Still same issue.

    When using the Twitch app on my Xbox 360 or through any web browser everything works fine.

    Any suggestions ? Have a ticket open with Twitch support but haven't received a reply back for almost a week now.

    twitch app hasnt been working for a week

    this has been resolved. factory reset while saving my data. only thing is all accounts have been erased and had to be resigned in to.

    New streaming platform for Xbox?

    as has been said twitch was on the platform first and has always supported streaming from the app, it used to work with the snap function until microsoft ditched the snap function, so open twitch app and select stream.

    Yeah, the sales and special app hasnt been updated in 2 or 3 weeks so it's been showing GTA and Bionic Commando this entire time. I've jjust been using the games tab to find the deals. This week there is a spring sale with a few Games on Demand and a bunch
    of DLC items on sale that goes onto April 1st.

    I've been working on this for a few weeks now and also have a ticket in with Twitch support.

    Trying to watch any broadcast on Xbox One Twitch app screen stays black but chat works, same as above posts.

    Temp Fix: Change your system location. I went into settings and changed my location from "Canada" to "United States".

    Rebooted the system and launched Twitch again and it works properly.

    This fix isn't the best but it works for me.

    Only annoying thing is that when you want to buy something you need to switch it back for your account to work properly in the store.

    I've tested Twitch on Xbox 360 and also on Ps4, no issues and works perfect. Issue with Xbox One only.

    Hope this gets fixed / patched soon.
