TWD:S2 EP3 Achievements

I really do not understand why Microsoft bother putting a game on the market without updating the achievements first. It just seems counter intuitive to put a game up first without the achievements, this isn't the first time it's happened either once before
it was almost the end of the day for us guys in the UK before the achievements were updated meaning it was too late for us to actually play the game we payed for. Updating the achievements before adding a game seems like the logical thing to do as it's not
like you can earn the achievements without the add-on, but it seems logic escapes MS sometimes.

The Walking Dead S2/Ep3 Achievements

Well, I've played through TWD, S2/Ep3 and unlocked all the achievements for it, yet, on the list of games and achievements, it shows that I've only unlocked 16/24 achievements and accumulated 200points.When I go on the list of achievements for the game
itself, it shows that I've unlocked all of them, even the ones from the latest episode.

My question is, anybody else having this issue?Is it something on MS's end or should I ask around at Telltale Games' forums?

Basically it's a problem of the Xbox Live servers not being updated with the new achievements yet (Telltale's fault I am guessing); so you can fulfill the requirements and they will unlock on your console, but they wont sync with Xbox Live because there
is noting for them to sync to. It happened with The Wolf Among Us as well.

PS: When they do get updated and are able to be synced, you will need to delete your gamertag from your console, re-download it and then play through the episode again to properly unlock the achievements.

 

think its just a display issue as locally the game sees the achieves up to 24 like its supposed to while on here its just still at 16. Would say it will eventually sync up with each other once xbox.com shows Ep3 achievements.

 

I'm having the exact same problem here. My achievements did not display the first time I completed the episode, so I went and did the same thing I did for TWAU. Deleted my profile, re-downloaded it and the achievements showed up locked, so I figured I just
had to replay the episode.

Guess what, the moment I unlocked the first one again, it went back to having the achievements disappear. So what the actual [Mod Removed]?

 

I don't know how to quote on here, but to DrunkLastKnight, if the achievements are not updated on xbox.com then you can not unlock achievements, well you can but they do not sync, so what that means is that if you unlock any achievements while xbox.com is
not update you have to delete your profile and re-download it and play that level/episode/whatever again to unlock the achievements once xbox.com has updated the achievements.

Which is why I find it asinine that they put the game up on the store front without having everything up and ready to go. Also once again I have the feeling that I am not going to get to play this today despite paying for it, it's 6:30PM GMT and I have the
feeling that they are not going up anytime soon.

 

Same thing happened with Wolf Among Us and here we go again. The cheevos arent up on xbox.com so you have to wait those lazy
[Mod Removed] to add them(its been 12 hours when the episode was released and still xbox.com have not been updated) and then do the reload the profile and replay thing. No one knowns when MS get their act together, another release and another
*** up.

 

yeah im not playing It until this is fixed. I now have to redownload my profile

 

I too think I'll hold off from playing till this is fixed..... Hopefully it won't be that long of a wait!

 

This is unbelievable and totally unacceptable. It's been over 24Hr's since the launch date and Microsoft still haven't pulled their finger out and sorted this out. How many times does this have to happen before they learn and either A) Delay putting the
game on the store front till the achievements are ready to launch at the same time or B) They do what Sony do and post the achievements(trophies) in advance to the launch.

People pointing the blame at TellTale, how do you figure it's TellTales fault? Sony have the trophies up, so that means that TellTale have given all the information that is needed, so it comes down to either Microsoft being lazy or that they have been so
busy making u turn announcements over the last few days that they have forgot about adding achievements.

I'm sorry to rant like this but I've spent my hard earned money on something and I can't get the full experience out of it.
