TV turns off when playing on Xbox 360.

I've seen this kind of post a few times but with different circumstances and answers i've tried.

The TV stays on fine when i'm on the Dash or any of the apps but when i start playing games (especially games that transition with black/blank screens) it just goes off and i have to pause and turn on again but it'll do the same later.

It is really bad whilst playing The Wolf Among Us, though i don't remember it doing that the first play through, and a few times during Halo.

I've checked TV and Console settings and it all seems to be correct, i've unplugged everything and restarted it all.

The TV by itself is fine, the Dash and apps are fine. Playing a game (especially the loading screens/black transitions) is where it all goes wrong.

Pleeaaase help. I just want to finish a game and it's too frustrating pausing and starting TV up all the time.

When I turn on my XBOX 360 with the TV on, it shuts off and the light turns red.

If I remove the HDMI cable, it works normal light turns green, runs cooler, connect the HDMI cable to the TV on, it turns off.

Can you help me?

My xbox turns itself on when I turn off my tv.

When I turn off my xbox 360 and then subsequently turn off my television, my xbox turns itself back on for some reason. It only happens with my living room tv which is a 50" Panasonic vierra 3d tv. If I turn my xbox off and leave my tv on, then it doesn't
happen. Any suggestions on why it is doing this and how I can fix it?

 

Either you have a bad HDMI cable or a bad power supply. That's what it sounds like to me. Or your TV itself isn't capable of 1080i

 

Yeah. I was using the Composite A/V Cable that came with the Xbox, bought an HDMI Cable and it's perfectly fine now.

My Xbox is doing the same but it's only done it due to my TV needing a tutorial before that mine was fine
