    I have a xbox not even connected to my tv and it turns my tv on and off when the xbox turns on and off.

    opinions on leaving on and tv app!!!

    Silent so when you turn the tv off via the xbox the tv light goes off. the dvr light goes off and the ONE light goes off?

    And then simply saying XBOX ON it turns on then say tv on the tv and dvr turn on?

    Xbox One turning off/on Xbox 360 when not connected.

    Are you sure it's the 360 console turning on/off and not just the TV? If it's the TV, it's probable that the IR blasting that your Xbox One is doing to turn off its connected TV is also reaching the second TV and turning that one on and off.

    Hey Drew,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If the TV isn't connected to your console, it shouldn't be powered on/off along with it. Are they both plugged in to the same outlet/surge protector by any chance?

    If your xbox is not connected via HDMI cable to that specific TV I don't think this should happen. (And as far as I know it shouldn't be possible)

    Make sure you are using the correct remotes for the TVs.

    Can you share more details about your configuration?

    So, I found a solution that worked for me. I had hdmi control for everything to turn off and turn on. I was getting the double power off. It turns out that it was my tv that was sending the extra off. Essentially, xbox told the receiver to turn off,
    and then told the tv to turn off. then the tv (a Samsung) told the receiver to turn off again. so I told the tv to quit controlling things and it's worked since.
