TV Tuner Question (Snap TV?)

If I purchased a TV Tuner for the Xbox One (X), can it put the TV picture in a snap TV image in the corner or the screen over the top of the game I am playing?

I cannot find a definitive answer on the internet. But from what I’ve read it seems to suggest that when the product was first released you could have a small overlap picture, but now all you can have is a whole side bar active with the picture within the
bar? So reducing the size of the picture of the game you are playing? Is that correct?

Youtube Snap Problem

so far i have checked 3 music apps that snap with the browser pandora,groove music,tune in radio as far as media apps go with edge browder movies & tv,starz play and similar apps to those may not snap with the browser but will snap with the game you are
playing so all is not lost yet

USB Digital TV Tuner no longer finds any channels after disconnecting, reconnecting and rescanning

This may be irrelevant, but I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app,
and the TV tuner uses the TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through
the XB1's USB port AND an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!

If you want your xbox one to show / snap the tv signal your set-up has to be like this:

(Not mentioning the soundbar for simplicity)

tuner->xbox->tv

In your configuration the xbox does not get in touch with the tv signal at all.

So xbox-tv-magic is not for people with tuners built into TVs (like you and me)

A solution would be to buy a seperate tuner if your are willing to pay for something you already have...

No recording of anything from the TV as yet, but you can plug that Now box into the HDMI in on your xbox one and watch the tv via it, and as a bonus, you can have the TV snapped onto the right of the tv, so you can play a game and have live TV/YT or any
other streaming provider, playing on the right of the TV at the same time.

I have the Tv tuner myself, works perfectly, i even found i can use this snap feature to play music from YT, almost just like playing our own music for games feature that is not here yet.
