TV Tuner /One Guide problem

Everything is set up fine , found all the channels i had on my freeview tv. The problem is not all channels appear on the One Guide. When searching during set up CH71 is Motors TV but when i start one guide this channel does not show, so i can not select
it. Is there a way of selecting or finding channels that dont appear in the One Guide??

TV tuner not found

Every time I set up my hauppauge TV tuner it scans the channels then once I get to one guide it says TV tuner not found. Everything worked great untill yesterday. I bought a new TV tuner today and that didn't resolve the issue. I just bought a new xbox
one and I continue to have the same problem.

My antenna works when plugged directly into my tv.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

I bought tv tuner for my xbox one s and try to install it but after choose tv lineup would ask (do you have a tv tuner? )and can not detect my tv tuner. I've tried all usb port and restart device or reset the one guide, but nothing worked.

Returned the tv tuner and got new one but unfortunately still the same issue.

It doesn't detect tv tuner!

Is there any solution?

Sorry about the OneGuide issue! If you haven't already, try resetting TV settings. Follow the steps below to do so. \/

• On your Xbox One controller, press the Menu button and select Settings.
  
• In the Settings menu, select TV & OneGuide.
• In TV & OneGuide, select Troubleshooting.
• From here, select Reset TV settings.
• Set up OneGuide again and verify if more channels appear.

Post back and let us know if that helps or not!

 

Same problem here. Different scans show different channels, but never all of them. Resetting the settings did not help.

 

I have a Problem with my TV Tuner, because it can just find some channels, sometimes none and sometimes just some i do not use, but never the one i use, i use cable connection and microsoft also has no idea how to solve the problem

Hello Mister Beep ,, no that didnt work ,, im not having the problem with the tuner finding the channels when it searches on 'set up'.. Its that some channels dont show in the one guide after the 'set up' is finished. But they are in the list that appears
when it is doing the initial search for channels during set up. Im in the UK by the way .

I have tried the set up several times and each time i have the same problem .

i,e You have the green bar going along the top with the channels it finds underneath CH71 is motors tv but when the set up is finished and i go into 'One Guide it jumps from CH69 to CH90.. CH71 is not in the One Guide.

 

I see, what we will have to do next is report the missing channels in TV & OneGuide settings so that this issue can get sent to the proper folks. Follow the steps below to report missing channels in OneGuide.

• On your Xbox One controller, press the Menu button and select Settings.
• From the Settings menu, select TV & OneGuide.
• From here, select Troubleshooting.
• In the Troubleshooting menu, select 'Report a OneGuide problem', and then select 'Missing Channel' in the drop menu.
  

Follow those steps and the report be sent to the proper folks, I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and I really hope you get up and running soon!

 

I tried everything you suggested but it is still not working correctly.

I'm living in Germany with cable TV (DVB-C).

I will receive an antenna booster today that amplifies the signal. I will plug it in between my antenna socket and the receiver and will see if that will make things better.

Did not help. Still the same problem. My TV picks up every channel just fine though, so I guess it is a problem with the TV tuner, and since there are more people with the same problem (lots of people on amazon, too) I assume it's a problem with the general
design/software of this device

 

Okay… This seems to be a Problem with DVB-C from Unitymedia in Germany. The Regions where you have Kabel Deutschland seem to be unaffected. All complaints on the Internet I found were from people with Cable TV from Unitymedia, with users of Kabel Deutschland
reporting that everything is fine for them.

Is there any way to (quickly) get Microsofts attention for this problem?

If not I will just send it in for repair over and over again until there is a fix.

 

I have a similar channel problem with Freeview - Anglia region.

The tuner will find all the channels, lists them accordingly but then in OneGuide, they are out of sequence. So, for instance BBC1 is listed as 1 - BBC 1, but when you scroll through all channels it is listed beneath channel 700. The same happens with
3 - ITV.

So, all the channels are found, they are all given the right numbers but aren't then displayed in numerical order! Most frustrating!!

 

Bunsen, I changed mine from Anglia to national OTA and it sorted out the problem. The only problem I now have is ITV HD (103) is out of order. I think it's because there is no channel info coming up for it.
