tv tuner not working every few days since NXOE

My xbox boots into tv and from time to time it wont show my tuner as being connected in the one guide. it will only show HDMI source to witch I have nothing connected. if i go to the settings and to tv and one guide then device control it shows as being
connected and I can successfully scan for channels. the process of scanning finds all channels then it still wont work when i hard reset and boot back up. anyone had malarial problems?

Stuttering video using Hauppauge TV tuner on XBOX Once

It worked fine before the NXOE AND it works perfectly fine on my PC.

The Hauppauge tuner is compatible with the PC. If you plug it into your PC there is no stuttering.

Since it worked perfectly before the NXOE and perfectly on the PC, it is NOT the Hauppauge tuner.

They changed something with the NXOE. That is all. The tuner is NOT a POS.

I just saw the same issue last night on my Xbox TV tuner, I tried different USB ports, and that didn't help. What I noticed was that the TV Tuner itself, it usually has the light that stays on the whole time. When you unplug it, then plug it back in, the
light would come on...then turn off after a few seconds, which is why it wasn't picking up. I thought the TV tuner was defective, as I was going to take it in to the Microsoft Store today and exchange it for another one.

 

Exact same issue here!

- Black Screen in Live TV

- No Channel available in the guide, only HDMI.

- I can successfully scan for channels.

- TV Tuner adapter light remains off.

 

I live in Canada, for some reason after I added a space in the postal code it worked again....

 

I was having the same issue (in Canada). I noticed the postal code needs a space to recognize when you set up as well.

I plugged my TV Tuner into my computer and it works fine for hours on end so I can confirm the hardware doesn't have an issue.

It seems to be some sort of conflict with the external drive I have on my xbox one. When I unplugged the external drive the TV tuner started working immediately. When I plugged the external drive back in the TV tuner continued to work. It may be a coincidence
but something to try if you have other USB devices plugged in.

 

Just been having the same issue not detected. Fixed if you in stall smartglass goto tv listing then choose a program and play, the xbox plays it then works fine. I use android version from phone. Not it doesn't say not detected...till next time

 

I'm having the same problem. I don't have anything else plugged into the USB and Smart Glass doesn't seem to work either. I've just bought the tuner and haven't got it to work once. Has Microsoft got any solutions for us?

 

Same thing here, stopped working all of a sudden the other day. It asks for a postal code to pick a provider which is now "not set up". There isn't a spot to add the post code??

 

Yep... same problem here in Australia. Every couple of days, seems that I have to reset all TV settings to get the channels back again. That seems to be the only way to fix this until Microsoft handle it in the next release?

 

Same issue here in the UK. every few days when i turn on the xbox it tells me the tuner is not detected (it is connected properly). A hard reset fixes the issue but its getting frustrating.

 

I can't use my Xbox one anymore because it says that there's no signal.I remember that you need to take off your disc before moving it.I don't know what do I do after
