    TV Tuner not picking up Sky


    Hi,

    I got the TV Tuner for Christmas after a lot of messing around my Xbox One can detect my Sky box and turn it on and off, but I can't get any picture. When I get the message telling me my Xbox can't find a picture it the message is instructing me to plug
    the tuner into the HDMI slot. Do I need to buy a USB/HDMI adapter?

    Incorrect channel numbers on OneGuide - Freeview London using USB receiver

    it's weird i did a retune today and the receiver is picking up the correct channel numbers on the tune stage but oneguide is still reporting incorrect so the problem is not with the TV tuner and its settings it's actually with the oneguide software and/or
    the information its receiving.....someone needs to look into this!

    Fact is it is a jack of all trades. It is a TV device with no tuner or PVR for example. Wow I can plug my sky in it.......or just use my sky!

    Hauppauge Xbox One Digital Tuner is terrific!

    OK Sold!! My Homeworx 150 died, Gonna pick up the Hauppauge Digital TV Tuner. I'm just 20 miles south of Boston. I get about 40 channels with the built in tuner on my LED TV. I would love the guide of the Xbox One back again.

    I just saw the same issue last night on my Xbox TV tuner, I tried different USB ports, and that didn't help. What I noticed was that the TV Tuner itself, it usually has the light that stays on the whole time. When you unplug it, then plug it back in, the
    light would come on...then turn off after a few seconds, which is why it wasn't picking up. I thought the TV tuner was defective, as I was going to take it in to the Microsoft Store today and exchange it for another one.

    @RippenHarra Freeview is not built into every television set here in the UK and it is most commonly a Box you have to buy seperately, we in the UK have just recently gone from terrestrial TV with a wopping 5 channels to having to have a digital tuner, the
    reason it is a box is because we have a choice of different providers, Sky, Freeview, Youview, Freesat, it will however eventually end up as standard that TVs will have built in digital tuners but thats not the case at the moment.

    Ah Ok. Thats Different. I should have said the Digital Tuner is built into our tvs with allowing access to this one free to Air Service. On older tvs a set top box is required to get the signal to the tv but these are not provider dependent. Each box does
    the same thing.
