TV Tuner does not show up.

Whenever we plug it in, it just doesn't see it. It saw it once, we scanned, it found channels, but when we went to watch it, nothing black screen. so we went to adjust the settings and then it never saw the tuner again. Anyone else have this problem or a
solution.

Using my TV's in build tuner

If you want your xbox one to show / snap the tv signal your set-up has to be like this:

(Not mentioning the soundbar for simplicity)

tuner->xbox->tv

In your configuration the xbox does not get in touch with the tv signal at all.

So xbox-tv-magic is not for people with tuners built into TVs (like you and me)

A solution would be to buy a seperate tuner if your are willing to pay for something you already have...

i cannot get the preview tv tuner to connect to the xbox one ,have been through all the settings,and have had help from customer services.but no improvement. have gone through one guide, etc. i also notice that the tuner box says digital, but normal tv connection
for the areal.

one guide is set for satalite. and keeps using the satalite for everything when i change settings.

have looked in the devices tab but the tuner does not show up on there.

 

Are you using an OTA tuner? If so then please try the steps below to troubleshoot.

i'm having the same problem. it doesn't auto detect the tuner, yet when i plug a usb drive in it finds it straight away. tried different usb ports reboot etc no look

 

I am having the same problem, Haupauge support got the tuner to work on my pc and said it must be the Xbox. Xbox support by phone had no clue of what a Haupauge digital tuner was... Frustrated since it is all over the Xbox website!
