    My grandson wants a new XBox Series X. Does his TV need to get upgraded for XBox Series X and any currently known later versions? Here are the TV’s specifications:

    TV resolution:

    Your TV supports 4K UHD at 60Hz.

    Playing games:

    Your TV supports 4K 10-bit at 60Hz.

    Your TV supports HDR10 for gaming.

    Hi Disko!

    Your TV doesn't have all the features that Xbox Series X/S console has to offer. But it's pretty good already. If you wanted to upgrade his TV, make sure to check all the details from the link below if a TV you might be getting supports all of it.

    Becasue the TVs with 2.1 are like 2 to 3 thousand dollars.
    Why not go for a Gaming monitor?

    This is something i'm looking at buying, but it wont release until Q4, which is in the same time period when the Xbox Series X is due to release.

    Im still gonna skip and stick with pc and wait for the 3000 nvidia series which will trounce this (and they are gonna be priced quite well also)
    My PC has trounced the Series X way before the Series X spec's were revealed, I'm also getting a 3000 series card but I'm going to wait on the RTX 3080 Ti release much later on.

    No mention of VR for xbox one x. Bad move

    If you want VR, GO OUTSIDE! Microsoft bashed PS4 Pro's specs, showing of Xbox One X's more powerful system. Where is PS5, huh?..... It's just thin air, as Sony hasn't officially announced specs pricing or even a release date.

    In short words: YES, this support your TV and you have no choice about that.

    I strongly suggest you to upgrade your TV because this one you own is a bit "old gen" for an Xbox One X
