    I’ve been struggling with this issue for about two weeks now. Whenever I try to turn on my Xbox One, it will either stay black and not display anything or my TV will show a message saying Not Supported. I’ve tried unplugging my TV and Xbox, resetting my
    resolution settings using the eject and power button, using a new HDMI cord, and resetting the entire console. Nothing is working and I’m getting close to selling my Xbox and moving over to PlayStation due to the vague information I’m given to try to fix my
    console.

    no in low power mode when i turn the box on and say watch TV it connects fine no message, if the STB is on when the xbox and tv are off then i turn them back on (from instant on mode) i get an HDCP connection message. also when i turn off the xbox and tv
    (going into instant on mode) it will not let me turn the cable box off (i believe because of the hdcp connection issue, when that message is up it won't let me do anything).

    this is an annoyance, once i click on and it connect i can use as normal, but im worried this could cause issues when the stb turns itself on to record shows

    Xbox one occasionally losing signal

    If I setup my Xbox one to control my TV and my cable box it will work just fine, it will turn on and turn off the cable box and my TV. My TV is a Samsung and my Cable is Dish Network Hopper. Sometimes though when I turn on my xbox the TV and the cable
    box will not turn on. So I will turn them on manually. However when I do turn them on the TV does not show in the TV app, it just shows the icon of the TV and tells me "TV app took to long to launch". Then I turn off the Xbox and it again doesn't turn off
    the TV or the cable box, so then I will hold the front xbox button for 10 seconds or unplug it all together, and then it all works just fine again, like nothing ever happened. Anyone know what this is all about?

    I have the same problem but for me at least it's a problem only if I turn on the Xbox One console first before turning on the TV.

    My theory is that the TV is only able to communicate its capabilities when it's actually on. When the Xbox is turned on and doesn't receive TV capabilities information, it sets itself to the lowest possible resolution to ensure maximum compatibility.

    Lets try this. Before turning the Xbox on, turn the TV on first (and wait for it to fully boot up to it's "no signal" message (if it displays one)... Then turn the Xbox on.

    Losing TV/cable signal need help

    Also having issues getting tv signal. Typically when I turn my xbox on it takes 15-20 seconds for the tv signal to show up. Sometimes it takes an annoying minute or two before it comes on. Every once in a while it takes upwards of 30 minutes to show up.
    I have un-plugged to re-boot more times than I care to recall. SOmetimes this fixes the issue right away...sometimes not. When I turn off cable box it comes up with the "we've lost your tv signal" message. Unbelievably annoying. Seriously considering
    going back to separate inputs for tv/xbox....not sure how xbox is going to be integral to the home entertainment system if you cant even turn the tv on. :(

    4k problems on xbox one s

    I am having a similar issue. My xbox one s and tv support all video functions, and when gaming or in the menus, my tv shows that the output is in 4k. As soon as I load up Deadpool 4k blu-ray, my tv shows that the output is 1080p.. Any ideas?
