    Correct remote code, but remote doesn't work

    I went through the tv setup and the codes that the Xbox sends to the tv works during the setup process. However, after exiting setup, it won't recognize any input from either the tv or cable remote to control the tv. The cable remote works fine controlling
    the cable box through the xbox. I can use the smartglass app and it controls the tv fine as well.

    I would confirm the TV to xbox setup. Check the cables, TV input and output. Confirm setup if your TV is setup to include one guide because the cables could be crossed.

    Xbox --> TV --> Sound system

    But for my new setup, it will be this:

    TV (video) <-- Xbox --> Sound system (audio)

    After NXOE, Kinect no longer sends signals for volume control, all else is fine

    Mine is doing the same thing but my TV is a LG. I also checked with the phone camera for the IR blast during and after TV setup. During TV control setup I get the IR blast for mute and volume up and it controls the tv. But after setup just sitting on the
    new NXOE build I do not get the IR blast for the Mute or and volume commands and every other IR blast command works that I tried besides those.

    Xbox one media remote won't control TV

    I did that, and as part of the setup process the kinect was able to mute my TV. However, the media remote won't cause anything to happen with the TV, just apps. I wanted to know if the media remote is supposed to control your TV or just the Xbox, it doesn't
    really say it will control the TV. But yes, my Xbox one says that the TV is setup correctly. Any other suggestions?
