TV Season Pass

Hi,

The FAQ states that TV Season Passes do not count for points. My understanding is that the Season Pass items are somewhat like a pre-order in that you buy it before all the content is released and you get the new episodes as the come out. I can understand
that they would then be treated like a pre-order.

There are several shows I am considering purchasing on the store however the are listed as Season Pass even though they have been out for some time and no new episodes are going to be released ever. Fear the Walking Dead season 1 for example is showing as
season pass. It's from a year ago and there is a season 2 out already (AUS region).

If I buy this does it mean I will not get any points even though it should not be considered a 'pre-order' type item?

TV, Movies, and MyVIP?

So the FAQ says TVs and Movies are eligible for MyVIP but NOT Microsoft Movies and TV Season Passes. I understand TV Season Passes, but where do movies stand in all this? I'm confused and would appreciate clarification. I assume TV episodes that are not
Season Passes are also eligible?

Hi IdleZombie. You are correct. If it is categorized as a season pass, it would not qualify for MyVIP because our system will recognize it as an ineligible purchase.
