TV screen goes bank when move joystick

Discus and support TV screen goes bank when move joystick in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When we move the joystick on the controller, the home screen disappears and only comes back after pressing numerous buttons.     TV screen goes bank when move joystick


    When we move the joystick on the controller, the home screen disappears and only comes back after pressing numerous buttons. Once on a game it is okay to use but changing games doesnt work. Any ideas?

    It is not the TV. I am experiencing the same thing with no game at all. when I move the cursor on the home screen there is a noticeable 3 SECOND DELAY before movement. This only happens with the joysticks and directional pad and not the buttons.

    LARGE TV AND DELAYED TIMING??? HELP!!!

    I just got a 55" TV and when I play my games, Halo for example, when I move the joystick, the avatar will move a second later. Why is that? I don't like it, and how can I make it better? Thanks and I appreciate the comments. Reply to

    nah, ages ago. ive tried different cables different tv's and it works a few times, but about 95% of times its a blank screen. i can hear the xbox login sound and the flicking sound moving the joystick but thats it

    Xbox one dimming

    If you let the controller sit idle for some time, the game will dim the screen, and the controller will eventually shut off by itself. This is to prevent wear on the TV screen and save controller battery power.

    Pushing a button, moving the joystick, or turning the controller back on will bring the screen back to normal.

    Also, if your TV has any sort of auto-contrast, auto-brightness, or auto-backlight setting, consider disabling those features.

    Check the settings on the TV with the TV remote Menu.
