    Display and sound issues

I've now managed to get it working by setting the Colour depth to 36 bits per pixel (Settings > Display & sound > Colour depth). Here's my display/picture settings in full:

    TV Resolution: 1080p

    TV Connection: HDMI (auto-detect)

Colour depth: 36 bits per pixel

    Colour space: PC (RGB full)

Hope that sorts it out for you too!

    HDMI issue and AV receiver

Try setting the Colour depth to 36 bits per pixel (Settings > Display & sound > Colour depth). I had the exact same issue as you, right down to it working intermittently, on my Pioneer VSX-527, but changing that setting has fixed it for me. Here's my display/picture
    settings in full:

    TV Resolution: 1080p

    TV Connection: HDMI (auto-detect)

Colour depth: 36 bits per pixel

    Colour space: PC (RGB full)

    TV/PC Colour spacing 36 bits

Hi Haze, I currently run my Xbox One at PC RGB 36 bits per pixel and have had no overheating in the slightest, infact my xbox is rather cool most of the time even when on for an extended period. If there's an option for something then it means the console
is able to handle it fine so I wouldn't worry about it, Just make sure to keep your console in a well ventilated area and don't put other consoles/set top boxes on top of it.

When your on a bigger screen the textures will not be as good as on a smaller screen, but you could try Go yo settings Display and sound then video fidelity and change the colour depth to 36 bits and then change the colour space to pc (rgb) full it seemed
    to help for me

Live TV jittering after most recent update

You might also try changing the colour depth setting. At 36 bits my TV jittered, at 30bits it didn't!

    Cheers
