TV Pass-through Panning Red Flicker

Hi all, There seems to be a problem with the Xbox One TV pass through effecting the image with high intensity red. The problem is noticeable as flickering when red areas are panning across the screen. You can see this quite clearly when watching a football
team wearing red, or any motor racing. I'm surprised this isn't more widely reported online, but I suspect the issue has been masked behind the 50 - 60Hz TV output problem. There is a few mentions on reddit and

avforums.com about this though so I don't believe I'm unique in seeing this.

I'm in the UK and only have one Xbox One available, but I have tested this on various displays and configurations. Taking the Xbox One out of the setup and the image doesn't display these artifacts. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experience
these issues. It's only really noticeable on larger displays and the areas of the image need to contain full bright red. You'll also see this in bright orange.

As a side note, if anyone wanted to invite me to the preview program I could probably help provide some good feedback on this and other similar issues. I have a background in both hardware and software, plus all round gaming geek #

Verizon Fios flickers

Just got done setting up xbox and Verizon fios cable box but I am having issues with live tv constantly flickering black when it passes through xbox one. The audio works fine but with the constant black flicker it is unwatchable through the xbox one

 

50 Hz support

One thing I have now noticed is that the edges of bright colours, particularly reds and oranges, flicker quite significantly during movement I.e. Panning shots or footballers shirts. I believe this is due to my Sky box outputting 1080i and the XB1 outputting
1080p. If I change the sky to 720p the problem is significantly reduced although the quality is visibly lower. At the moment I am putting up with the flicker. It tends to mostly occur with sports. No issue with movies but I have read that because movies only
use 25fps, the 1080i 50fps effectively becomes 1080p 25fps. I think these conversion issues will manifest in different ways depending on input and TV. We are getting closer but not quite there yet!

I believe this is a serious issue.

 

I have also noticed this issue and it has reached the point where I don't use the TV app on Xbox One anymore because of this.

I have tried it on three TVs and it affects them all. It also happens on bright pinks too (e.g. Rory McIlroy's shirt today as he won the Open).

 

I've noticed this a lot during football matches the stewards high viz jackets in particular
