    Tv Or Xbox?

Have you tried other HDMI ports on the TV "if it happens to have more than 1", just to see if that one port is broken? If it is not the dead pixel issue, then it's possible there's a lose wire in one of the connectors, as you have stated you have tried different
    cables.

So its either the HDMI port on the 360 has started to malfunction, or that one HDMI port on the TV is not functioning properly. Also keep in mind that some HDTV's also have game mode.. So it auto detects your playing a game and sometimes darkens the colors,
though, that shouldn't be giving you all the weird colors your seeing but it might be..

If the problem persists and until you determine if its the 360 or the TV's port, you could always use the normal AV cables... I know its not the best connection for HD, but you should get your sound back as well as normal colors. Do play around with the TV
settings though, and perhaps disable game mode when playing the game, just set it to TV or Movie mode and see if the colors are better on that.. You could also manually adjust the colors to your liking if they seem off.

If it is indeed the Xbox and its still under warranty, you can send it in to get that port repaired. If it is not under warranty, I would change back to the old school cables as paying 120$ just to get the HDMI port fixed is a little pricey.

    let us know.

I would think the xbox would be easier, but if you get a noticeable time delay try the TV!

I've just actually taken mine out of Xbox and connected to tv due to the delay and it works fine now, maybe something to do with me being on the preview program.

Nah. HDTVs can put in quite a noticeable time delay due to image processing (using game mode helps, but you still get some)

People complain about Kinect input lag, but much of this is down to the TV.

If you plug the audio into the TV, then at least it will have the same delay as the picture.

I have some Turtle Beach Elite 800s and I the Xbox One as the source. I don't notice any problems between the tv and sound being out of sync.

    TV or Xbox one?

That's good. It's more noticeable on some TVs than others. Also, as I said, if your TV has a game mode then that also helps.

Xbox series X has no in game sound but has sound on dashboard and everywhere else

it only happens to the Xbox X series + Samsung TV. I have Xbox one and a sony TV as well. I tried Xbox X series + Sony TV and Xbox one + Samsung TV. both work...

XB1/LiveTv works Great! but please add the following...

I would like to follow up on this idea of starting XBox One into TV Mode. It should be possible to wake up XBox one with two voice commands. One going to Xbox Startscreen ("XBox ON") and the other one with booting up to TV ("XBox TV")..
