    We would like to buy our son either a monitor or TV for his bedroom for his 15th birthday. He will mainly be using it for his XBox One.

    Please could someone advise what features we need it to have and whether we are better getting a monitor or TV?

    Our budget is about £180 at the most.

    Its depends on how much room / space and budget one has,

    for an Xbox One X,

    Ideally its worth getting a 4K screen, for a TV i would say anything beyond 32", and a Monitor, anything beyond 27",

    I myself have a Samsung 50" 4K HDR TV, and a Asus 27" 4K Monitor,

    I use my TV for 4K movies and the Monitor for 4K gaming on.

    Hi Gamer

    It all depends on your budget and where you plan to set up for gaming

    I prefer a TV. I have a 50" Samsung UHD since I have a large living room so a big TV is a better option

    Most of my gaming buddies have 27" gaming monitors(Also 4K)

    Many gamers prefer the 34" for ultimate gaming
